Biography

I reside in Singapore, a flourishing nation state in Southeast Asia. I am an Adult and Young People Services public librarian. I am a graduate in English Language and Linguistics and I have particular interest in language on the internet. Apart from scholastic excellence I am the kind of character to have a finger in every pie, dabbling in all activities solitary such as baking, photography, reading, craft-making, etc. This blog chronicles my interests.

Since they say the pen is mightier than the sword, what use has a pen without ink?

Photographs

The photographs on this site comes from 4 main sources:

The older photographs (before May 2007) come from a Sony Cybershot something. I bought that camera in 2003, when digital camera technology was in its infancy and Sony memory sticks were 64mb.

The recent photographs (after May 2007) come from a Canon Powershot A710 IS. This camera is modest – 7.1 megapixels, 6x optical zoom, and maco mode of 5cm — this explains how I can take close up shots of food. I highly recommending the Powershot range.

On March 24th 2010 I got a 12.4 megapixel Pentax K-x dSLR, so some of the pictures after than date come from the dSLR.

The other more blurry and on-the-go photographs come from a 5 megapixel Samsung Omnia II cell phone, or a 5 megapixel Apple iPhone 4 (after November 2010).
