I made this pair of earrings for Sulz and I think it’s really nifty. Since I make trinkets and bind books, why not bring together these 2 crafts and create things befitting a bookworm? The books are real; they are hardbound with blank pages (prolly good for taking down phone numbers or something). I like them so much I nearly couldn’t bear to give them away. :P I’m so going to make myself a pair and wear them to school once the new semester starts. And I’m so happy Sulz loves them.
‘course i freaking love them. :D and they’d well with a brown t-shirt i bought. it says: like i need your approval. so there, that’s what it says to people who think i’m nutty for wearing book earrings!

People at my craft forum suggested I print miniature covers of my favourite books onto the mini books. But I can’t decide which to print! And that is really quite “endorsing” a book. So I guess I’ll stick with something plain. I was thinking dark green, since I’ll be wearing a lot of green clothes next year (I bought a lot of green tops recently). Heh.
