I made some this morning and they came out okay, flaky and crispy while soft in the middle,  i too was concerned about the pools of butter leaking out from croissants in the oven, frying the bases  euuuuggghh

is it normal for this to happen, too much butter in recipe? because i had proofed them for a decent time in a cool place, so butter wasnt melting before they went in the oven. I cooked them at 200 celcius for roughly 20 mins.</description>
