The girls and I went to Modesto’s at Vivocity on Sunday to celebrate my birthday. We had lots of yummy wood-fired pizza, but not enough booze for me to ignore the fact they didn’t give me a birthday card, which makes it unbirthday and disgusting. Anyway, some food pictures:
In honour of the SaTC movie showing soon. (If you have to ask what’s SaTC, or what’s the link, too bad.)
The ricotta cheese was yummy, but the spinach was a tad… concentrated? Spinach does not go well with tamato, oh no, so this pizza was a little on the weird side.
Different kinds of mushroom were used in this, not that I can tell, but I’ll take their word for it.
I am not a fan of parma ham. There’s something about air-dried porcine legs that gross me out a bit; not forgetting that it’s incredibly salty.
This is my favourite pizza out of the four. You can never go wrong with tomato, cheese and sausages. That’s some comfort pizza I tell you.
Ok so my short review of the four pizzas might sound lukewarm, but come on! It’s pizza! Pizza is comfort food. As long as the tomato is not dodgy, as long as the cheese is not dodgy, I’ll say this is a good place for pizza. Not that I’m going back in the near future, but pizza will almost always be nice.
