Revlon Scented Nail Polish

I picked up a bottle of Revlon Scented Nail Polish the other day. You might ask, what is scented nail polish? This nail polish claims that it is scented when dried. So I bought a bottle in a colour called Gumdrop, which is a light milky purple.

It’s much more purple than it appears onscreen actually. It’s a cute pastel shade, which I think is a good base color if I want to design on it. I like the color, and true to the claim, it is scented! Gumdrop has a faint scent of commercial berries scent, if you catch my drift. The kind of berry and candy smell you get in lotions. In fact it smells a lot like my Freeman foot lotion. Which turned out to smell like Pez candies.

I like this polish enough but I feel that Revlon polishes take a long time to dry because the polishes are very watery, so I tend to apply more than I need and it becomes very thick and hence it takes a long time to dry. Definitely not for when you are in a rush. And It cracks rather easily in my opinion.

Revlon Scented Nail polish is available at Watsons, BHG etc. for $11.90, but I got it at a 20% discount at BHG last week. Seriously, don’t pay full price for this.
