The First Birthday Present

So today I was at home lazing around while trying to read my notes (seriously I should get started on my revision considering my first paper is on Saturday) when this came!

A package from Malaysia from Sulz! My first reaction was, “woah that’s a lot of stamps!” And then I looked at the postmark, and it says 16 April. Which means it took only 3 days! (Well nowadays I’ve learnt to not take speedy postal service for granted, especially after posting a CNY card to the USA which took 37 bloody days to reach) Oh well, never mind me. I’m so happy!
Sulz, many many thanks for the copy of The Outsider by S.E. Hinton and The Music of Dolphins, by Karen Hesse! (Now I’m considering whether to read them straight after my exams, or to bring them to China with me. Hm, choices choices.)

Yay. First birthday present, and all the way from Malaysia! Yay! This is so fun. Receiving BOOKS in the mail. :D

hahahahahah! so funny all the stamps lined up like that. i don’t know why my dad didn’t pay postage at the post office instead.

don’t bring to china. they’re very quick reads. save the space for other books so less books to bring.

Ha! I thought you had a part to play in the stamp arrangement… maybe you thought I collected stamps or something. Haha. My mother says the stamps very pretty, I should go collect them.
Ok, shall not bring them to China. Shall save my hideously long books (like maybe read Jonathan Strange again) for the trip.
