on the recent issue of a particular SMRT higher-upper claiming that trains are not reaching crushload – my opinion is that SMRT is secretly delighted that they have to get station managers to put on white gloves and help squeeze people into the train like Japan. As though this feature will make SMRT a worldclass transport.
